You know the Club Mud parking lot sale that had to be rescheduled because of smoke? Now it's been cancelled.

Lane County has moved their COVID danger level to high, largely on account of new cases among the 17-28 year-old demographic. They're expecting the uptick to last at least 3-4 weeks, more if people continue to act stupid (my phrasing, not theirs). Since Club Mud is surrounded by student rentals, including two high-rise buildings across the street and up the block, we just can't in good conscience go ahead with our gathering.

Sigh.  Gucci, gucci, little sale. It could have been fun.

I am shocked. Who would have expected that opening campus and having all the students come back would lead to more Covid cases? WHO indeed could have predicted such a thing.

And they are all coming into my store.

At least they have to wear masks (and they've been mostly good about it.)

I don't suppose you have any casserole dishes you were thinking of putting in that? R and I were saying the other day that we wish we had a lidded casserole, and I saw one that looked ok online, and then I thought nah I bet I know someone who'd sell me something we'd like even better.
