My favorite part of spring
Apr. 20th, 2025 06:11 pm...is when our apple trees start blooming.
Had a moderate bloom on the Gravenstein this year, but the Orange Pippin is just loaded with blossoms, I'll probably have to thin out the fruit, or we'll get nothing but golfballs again. Best part is the full week of sunshine and warm weather, which means plenty of opportunity for the bees to get busy and pollinate.
