This is Bob.

Bob likes to make sculptures. Coil-built, hollow, and very large. This one was so large, in fact, that it wouldn't fit in the kiln. He was trying to figure out how to support it at an angle--too long for the car kiln bed--when Tea suggested removing the floor of the kiln instead.

It still only just fit in the kiln, with Tea's equally enormous sculpture next to it. They have now been bisque-fired, and are bound for Tea's wood kiln, which will hopefully accommodate them both. They had to hand-truck them out to the truck, where Tea had rigged some really clever ramps to clamp over the tail-gate.

Bob is now working on a much smaller sculpture, a table-top figure study. His studio mates are relieved.
