On to the next thing

offcntrBack from Showcase, and am immediately ambushed by a list of next things: Clear the mail and phone messages, record everything--expenses, sales, a couple of commission checks--in the ledger, go to the bank, get groceries. Reorganize the van and resort and restock the pots and several other tasks beginning with "re."
Including "recycle."
The drying bat has been full of scrap clay since, oh, February, and only just firm enough to empty now. Denise has the morning free, so we fire up the pug mill and in a couple of hours, have somewhere between 250 and 300 lbs. of fresh, soft clay, perfect for me to start throwing all the dinner and dessert plates I need to replace those that sold last weekend in Portland.
