offcntrMy favorite author/illustrator/artist, Ursula Vernon, has a little sympathic magic ritual she does on New Years Day: she spends the day doing all the things she wants to do most of in the new year, just a little of each. It's a lovely notion, and one I wish I'd heard of yesterday.
I spent the day closing out my 2015 ledger, creating a new one for 2016, and downloading tax software. Or, to put it another way, procrastinating going back into the studio. (This is how I procrastinate, doing something else I've also been putting off.)
