My pottery co-op, Club Mud, threw a summer studio sale today, displays set up in the studio and out in the courtyard. I, however, did not participate. Too busy getting ready for my next show, Anacortes Arts Festival. So while the potters and--fairly sparse--customers were mingling at the sale, Denise and I were behind the curtain in the kiln room, unloading, inventorying and boxing pots. Was a bit crowded--covered the entire table in the back glazing room, as well as the kiln room table and some of the ware cart shelves. But I'd planned ahead, staged my ware boards and boxes and wrap in back while I was firing, so didn't need to be underfoot moving things through the sale space. We arrived from church just after 10 am, finished before 4 pm, so I was able to roll my boxes out to the car before they started tearing down the sale.

Yay!
