Bowled over

Also in my last firing? A whole bunch of bowls for Food For Lane County's Empty Bowls sale. I had my usual painted patterns, but the other bowls from the Throw-athon used a mixture of Wayne and Annie's glazes and the colored glazes I normally use for banks and dragons.

Wayne and Annie glazed their own; Tori and I glazed hers and Tea and Laura's bowls. All came out beautiful, although Annie's Blue Jeans glaze tended to run; I had to grind four of her bowls before I took them to the food bank. Tori really liked my cobalt glazes. She did all of her bowls in Cookie Monster Blue, with a rim dip in Bev's Smile. I showed her how to snap the bowl after the second dip, to encourage interesting drips. Think she's gonna do more of that in the future.
