Catching up

offcntrKiln is cooling today. Went till 9 pm last night, but cone 10 on both top and bottom dropped together, so I wasn't going to hurry things along. So today I slept a little late, and am catching up on home work: packing and shipping a pair of mugs, restocking the van from Market, pulling out an elephant pie plate for a customer coming by this afternoon. Gotta run to the bank and deposit cash from the weekend, and start pulling together final version of taxes to submit.
But first, here's a review of the last week's glazing.
Pet-specific special orders.
Oval platters, neither of which ended up fitting in the kiln.
A big serving bowl and teapot, both of which, surprisingly, did.
And a load of dinner and dessert plates, of which there were plenty left over for my next firing.
