Rainbow collection

offcntr Saturday's multicolored stompy boots reminded me to put up a few more colorful pics, these from Sunday afternoon. Been eating a lot of hard-boiled eggs on my lunch salads, so why not add a little color to lunch prep?
Things I learned this year:
1. Paas has finally admitted that their purple dye tablet is useless, and have replaced it with a pink that's even worse.
2. Trying to create purple with successive dips in red and blue come out terrible in either order. Trying to combine pink and blue is marginally better, but very weakly purple.
3. Red, yellow and orange all over-dip nicely; green and yellow aren't half bad, and green followed by pink made a surprisingly nice turquoise, possibly by washing out some of the yellow.
4. As soon as Denise left her stool for a minute, Tiki was there trying to snag spoons off of the counter.
