Well, the weather isn't nearly as frightful as they're getting back in the midwest, but it's still a mess. No point in leaving the studio when this is what waits outside.

I really did much better in the desert. I'm glad the drought is lessened, but the bicycle commute takes a lot more work in the rain.
I bought a parking permit for this term, so the real struggle is how to get my exercise when I drive. (There's a cheapest-tier C lot behind the community garden across the street from the Central Kitchen. I didn't know; half the cost and twice as close as last year's B-EAST arrangement.)
I took the trike out this morning, just before lunch, because it was so nice and sunny. Except biking into the sun with wet pavement was literally a dazzling experience. Not to mention a strong head wind.
Going the other direction back home was much easier.
