It's been a hard days week
Oct. 29th, 2022 09:01 pmAnd I've been working like a... potter.
Coming out of Clay Fest, I was head-first into the holiday season. I started throwing on Monday, 125 lbs of clay, 75 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Friday was down to 50 lbs, Saturday nearly 100 again.
My arms felt like wet noodles at the end of each day.
But I got everything made, managed to dry some things out on Sunday, by leaving the heater on high and the ceiling fan going while I drove down to Grants Pass for a Clayfolk meeting. Bisque fired Monday, and again Thursday, and the last today. I've been glazing since Thursday as well.
I've got some fun pictures of new work to show, when I have a moment to upload them. In the meantime, here's a sweet picture from the Josephine County Empty Bowls sale.

I'd say they look happy, wouldn't you?
