...and back to work
Oct. 18th, 2022 10:11 pmThe dust has barely settled from Clay Fest, and I'm already back in the studio. It's only six weeks 'til Clayfolk, and only three until my next firing has to load, so I'm working overtime. One hundred pounds of clay thrown yesterday, seventy-five today; we'll see how long I can maintain the pace. I'll have an extra day each week, because I'm done with Saturday Market for the season, but I'll lose a day this Sunday because I have to drive down to Grants Pass for Clayfolk meetings.
Oh well, I'll have what I have. I expect a particularly busy Clayfolk. Like Clay Fest, it's been three years since we've sold in person, so there's a lot of pent-up demand.
Here's some of what I've made so far: dessert plates, pasta bowls, pie plates, some special orders; serving bowls, thrown and trimmed. And teapots. A bunch of teapots, as I've only got one left in stock.
