It's been a hard day's week
Apr. 1st, 2022 05:44 pmAnd I've been glazing like a... well, busily glazing person. Trying to get everything done by Friday mid-day, because I need to be home to join Denise on a conference call about her knee surgery, then make sure everything is in the van for Market--did I mention tomorrow is the first day of Saturday Market?--and make a supper that will have leftovers for tomorrow, and cookies to take to Market, because my neighbors expect them...
And I did it. Finished the last incense dragon around noon, did ten bowls for Empty Bowls, if there's room in the kiln for them, even cleaned up the glazing room and called Annie to let her know it's available a day early.
It was a varied mix--bronto, elephant and frog banks, incense dragons, some enormous mixing bowls, merely big serving bowls, a batch of mugs for Great Harvest Bakery--good thing, they were down to one mug when I stopped in for bread last Saturday. Pies and bakers and honey jars for my booth, now that the sales season has started. And the big order of pasta bowls and tall mugs for Childhood's End.
Ah, enough with the words. Here's some pictures.

Yeah, that's a lot of pots.
