I'm tired of being a grown-up.
The last couple of days have been exhausting. Yesterday alone, I:
1. Packed and shipped two special orders, stopping to scrounge more boxes from a recycle bin as I biked back from UPS.
2. Pulled the battery from my van and put it on the charger. (More about, anon)
3. Sorted and restocked boxes of pots from the van, transferring pots from the shed to fill holes in the inventory, and incidentally remembering to transfer from one inventory to another.
4. Restocked the wrapping paper and bag supplies, and switching out the 10x10' canopy from Holiday Market for the 8x8' one.
5. Delivered mugs to Great Harvest Bakery and Tsunami Bookstore, picking up a check from the latter. (Great Harvest pays me in store credit--I earn a lot of bread, there.)
6. Stopped at Club Mud to pack up six more boxes of pots from the last firing and retrieve the lost hat I left there on Saturday.
7. Made supper and did two loads of laundry.
Today, I finished stocking the van, sorted and recorded the new pots, and loaded a kiln to refire tonight. Tomorrow I update my website for Market, and go get my COVID shot.
Okay, I did treat myself to a loaf of monkey bread from Great Harvest, so it's not like there's no rewards.
