Bringing home the bacon

Had to make banks this last throwing cycle, and thought I'd set up the video camera. Not sure whether I'll be able to do anything with the chicken banks, not all the bits are in frame. (It's hard when you're your own camera man. The tripod can only help so much.)

But the pig video came together nicely, trimmed down to a little over 5 minutes, and Denise suggested the perfect song that was already the right length.

What a fun song! And I enjoyed seeing how the piggies are made. Your hands have done that a few times before, haven't they? :)

It is nearly as soothing to watch someone who is good at doing a manual task doing it as it is to do the manual tasks at which one is oneself practiced (I spent this morning running up some new dish towels for the household, which is the sort of thing that I remember being A Job when I was younger, and which is nowadays something I can do without a great deal of actual thought when I'm supervising the kids carrying out their own tasks....)
