offcntr1. It has been 40 years since I learned to throw on the potter's wheel, in my second Ceramics class, in 1981. (I was a slow learner. Centering is hard.)
2. Preparing the recycling in the studio tonight, I found I've used ten boxes of clay--500 lbs.--since starting work again on January 2.
3. Shippo, my online shipping service, tells me my pottery boxes traveled 26,675 miles in December of 2020. That's a long way--the circumference of the earth at the equator is only 24,901 miles. It was a very busy month.
