Got a DM (direct message) on Saturday from former Eugene potter Ken Standhardt. He and his husband moved to California several years ago to take care of a family member. He's still active on Instagram, though, and offered to post a few of my pictures to his feed. He has roughly 45,000 followers, and wants to promote potters whose work he appreciates.

I said Sure! and sent him some photos from my last firing. They went up Wednesday night. Thursday morning I had 30 new followers.

As I was restocking the van for Holiday Market, I took a few photos, just to give the new kids something to look at, including the tall mugs here. Got a DM at midnight asking if they were available to buy. And this afternoon, the octopus and the sea turtle mug were on their way to New York City.

(All together now: New York City!?!)

Just did another post; I'm up to 157 followers. Cool, huh?
