I really don't know what happens next.
Saturday Market has announced another postponement, to May 23. The UVAA Summer Arts Festival, in Roseburg, just announced their cancellation. Ceramic Showcase isn't happening, though the Gathering of the Guilds is trying to reschedule for Fall. Silverton Fine Arts Festival (in August) just sent its artists a survey, asking whether they should pull the plug now, or wait a little longer to decide.
Or else online.
Maude Kerns Art Center had to cancel their upcoming gallery show--the artists couldn't get their paintings to Eugene--but decided to compensate by creating an online-only members show, A Change of Space. I entered four sculptures, since I so rarely get a chance to show them off. You can see the entire display--and purchase some art, if so inclined--here.
Saturday Market is also expanding their online presence. They've had a Facebook Marketplace for a while. They're also working on a public-facing Members Directory, with images, contact information and links to websites. It's currently being beta-tested; they hope to go live in the next week.
And, of course, there's always my website. I'm fairly well-stocked on regular items and patterns, and able to pack and ship, or arrange pick-up, if you're local. Custom patterns or forms will be slower--I don't know when I'll be firing next, but it won't be before mid-May. I'm posting a page with my current inventory of patterns and forms--no pictures, just a list--if you want to order from what's on hand. Find it here, or click the "In Stock" button to the left at offcenter.biz.
