That was a surprise.

We're sitting in our booth at Fall Festival, minding our own business, when suddenly there's a thump on the roof, a thwap! on the back wall--angled out for rain protection and anchored by bungee to some convenient sprinkler heads--followed by a sliding noise. Denise turned in time to see the disgruntled squirrel--who'd fallen out of the tree above our roof--scamper down the sidewalk.

Trying to look like, I meant to do that all along.
