Signs of spring

All the buttercups (aka marsh marigolds) are in bloom in front of the River Road Post Office. (And one in the gutter up River Road--can't tell if it's rooted in a crack in the pavement or the cluster of leaves it's peeking out of, but it was definitely a surprise.)

Mom says they got snow again Saturday night in Wisconsin. This is the time of year I appreciate moving to Oregon most.
