I've been making art! We have a small store room long and narrow, back behind the kiln room. It's mostly for glaze storage, but there's enough room for a table, and we've installed some good lighting, so for the next week, it's my glazing station.

I should probably be typing minutes from today's Club Mud meeting right now--I'm the secretary, and we did a lot of business today--but I promised I'd post pictures.

Gotten a lot done since I started glazing Saturday, despite the world's insistence on interrupting. I've done tall mugs, stew mugs, painted mugs, pies and casseroles and bakers, some teapots and cookie jars. I even glazed eight stick butter dishes and a dozen piggy banks. A few of these are commission; far more are just things I'm nearly sold out of. Batter bowls, baking dishes, covered casseroles. Here's a representative sampling:

I'm really a soft touch, sometimes. I sell cat food dishes for only $15, and for a mere, well, nothing extra, I'll custom-paint them with the buyer's cats.

I should probably charge extra, but heck, it's fun.
