Honestly, I've already lost most of last weekend's Market. Since we packed out Sunday night, I've loaded and lit the glaze kiln, then drove down this morning at 5 am to continue firing. I have vague memories of selling many pots, and running out of three patterns of stew mugs and one of painted mugs. Oh, and the dad with son in a "Merry Christmas, ya Filthy Animals" t-shirt (in red), who stopped and bought a sea otter bowl to go with the otter (something) they bought last year.

Five minutes later, a mom and son in "Merry Christmas, ya Filthy Animals" t-shirt (in green) stopped by, said, Oh, look! This is where we got the otter (something) last year!

Coincidence? Parallel universe? Who can say?

Anyway, here's a short video clip of the plate display from the back of my booth. Honestly, I should have thought of this last week.

Last week was solid glazing. Forty to sixty pots a day, every day. Finally finished at 1 pm Friday, just in time to snatch lunch and go down to load in at Holiday Market. Exhausted? Why yes. Also having back spasms from a combination of standing all week and perching on a stool (or worse, wrestling heavy boxes in tight quarters, getting out restock).

So I waited until the (relative) quiet of actual firing day to catch up on posting. I didn't get a lot of pictures while glazing--too busy actually doing it--though I grabbed a few of special orders.

Like forty more mugs for Great Harvest bakery.

A bunch of custom dessert plates.

Not to mention gravy boats for the booth, and a whole lot of pasta dinner bowls.

At this point, I'm done making and glazing pots for the year. Anything left over (about eight ware boards) will wait until 2022.
