The week that was
Dec. 7th, 2021 12:06 pmLast week was solid glazing. Forty to sixty pots a day, every day. Finally finished at 1 pm Friday, just in time to snatch lunch and go down to load in at Holiday Market. Exhausted? Why yes. Also having back spasms from a combination of standing all week and perching on a stool (or worse, wrestling heavy boxes in tight quarters, getting out restock).
So I waited until the (relative) quiet of actual firing day to catch up on posting. I didn't get a lot of pictures while glazing--too busy actually doing it--though I grabbed a few of special orders.
Like forty more mugs for Great Harvest bakery.

A bunch of custom dessert plates.

Not to mention gravy boats for the booth, and a whole lot of pasta dinner bowls.

At this point, I'm done making and glazing pots for the year. Anything left over (about eight ware boards) will wait until 2022.
