A lovely letter
Jan. 2nd, 2015 09:05 amI got a lovely letter in the mail yesterday, that said, in part:
I would like to tell you about a wonderful coffee cup I received for Christmas. It was one of yours with a hummingbird on it.
She proceeded to recount how much she and her husband loved hummingbirds, how he'd even invented a heated hummingbird feeder to keep them through the winter… and how he'd passed away in November.
I want to tell you how much I enjoy the cup, it is the only one I will use now. I think of my awesome husband and his hummingbirds every time I use it.
I sent her a (somewhat choked up) thank-you note. Wow. Just wow.
