Denise and I opened the kiln Thursday morning to the best firing I'd had in a while--very little oxidation, even top and bottom, lots of gorgeous pots. One small headache: now that I can't get chrome-free black anymore, I'll have to be a lot more careful how thick it goes on the pots: too much black and it blisters. It's always something.

Too busy sorting, pricing, inventorying to remember to take many pictures, but here's a couple, both special orders. I'm really happy how the doggy turned out.
