Is it just me, or does that lamb look a little nervous?
First really sunny Saturday since Market opened, so we left the walls off the booth, put our empty boxes outside, and reveled in the elbow room. Lots of people out and about, shopping for Mothers Day, one presumes.
Looked like it would be a mugs-only day--five painted mugs, two tall mugs and a stew mug--but then we sold a casserole and medium server, a platter (!), and a pasta bowl that's going home to New Zealand with the daughter-in-law of a long-time customer. Marion's a retired mathematician who used to live around the block from Club Mud, so I visited her house to deliver special orders, watch the birds at her feeders (so many bushtits), and play with the math puzzles. She's 90 now, moved into assisted living, and no longer collecting pots, but dispersing them, but I still enjoy it when she comes down to visit with family or friends.
