Portrait of the artist as a young post-impressionist

Was going through some very old art works recently, preparatory to moving them to a new portfolio (because a cat peed on a corner of the old one) and came across this acrylic self-portrait from, oh, 1980.  Very juicy loaded-brush work. Probably more influenced by Rembrandt than van Gogh.

No, I'm not hanging it up where anyone can see it. (Except here.)
