It's been a very... choppy year so far. Hit the studio before New Years, even, to throw pots, eager to make up for the busy holiday season. And then stopped, because we had the Wisconsin trip planned. Came back, went into Club Mud to glaze for a few days. And then stopped, because surgery, and a week of recovery where I daren't lift a glaze bucket or ware board. Back to glazing, and finally, Sunday, loading a kiln that's been in progress since December.
Fired it yesterday, a long, slow process that at least ended up with even temperatures, top and bottom. Now I wait a couple of days for it to cool enough to see the results.
Spent part of yesterday afternoon on the computer, sorting and processing photos from the glazing. Unfortunately, the wifi at Maude Kerns is pretty spotty, so couldn't upload them till now.
Prepare for photo dump! These were from the first batch, pre-surgery.

Here's the second series, including a whole buncha plates. (The tiny ones are actually lids for mugs, a little over 3" across.)
