Time out

I've been struggling all week between studio time--making painted mugs, tall mugs, soup bowls and stew mugs--and office work, specifically graphics for two different clay shows. Designed and ordered a postcard, poster and flyer for Clay Fest, a poster and two ads for Clayfolk. Also ads for Off Center Ceramics and Pulp Romances for the Holiday Market Guidebook. All the while debating with myself whether I should skip Market this weekend, to give myself an extra day either at home making pots, or down at Club Mud, glazing.

I finally decided this morning that I could just manage Market this weekend, provided I kept the option of skipping next Saturday in my pocket. So I emailed to check in.

Just after lunch, the Market office called. Park Blocks construction has finally reached my corner. I could either relocate or take the weekend off.

Guess who's not going to work on Saturday?
