Invariably, when I schedule a little time off, I get sick. My immune system struggles to keep me going through production cycles, road shows, Holiday Market (or, in this case, Holiday Market and then production cycle). But as soon as I schedule some time off, even as little as a week (this week, in fact), my antibodies throw their hands up and say, That's it, I'm outta here.
So I've got the three-day flu: scratchy throat and runny nose yesterday, sinus headache and thick mucus today today, general bleahs tomorrow, if past experience is any guide.
Best part? I finally managed to schedule an appointment with my new Primary Care Physician for this morning. Do I show up, or cancel? Waiting on their instructions...
ETA: Well, they canceled my appointment and reauthorized my meds through May. And sent me for a drive-through COVID test.
