The last one
Mar. 30th, 2024 07:18 pmFinally processed the last sale from Desk and Table Friday. Left three messages on her phone--no email address given--and finally texted her in desperation. Turns out her voicemail is broken. We texted back and forth about options, and she wound up calling me with her card number.
Sixteen sales processed, for a total of 27 pieces. One sale canceled--buyer broke up with the partner she'd wanted to buy the hummingbird bowl for.
Didn't make a profit, of course, even with the generous visiting artist stipends--airfare is just too spendy--but we have money put away for travel, and this seemed a great way to use some of it.

I'm not the only one busy making stock for the opening of Market. Denise sold all but one of her larger journals at the show, and got an order for one I'll be taking to Wisconsin on Monday. So she's busy preparing more. I help with choosing colors and trimming covers, but she's the master of Coptic stitching. Beautiful, tight braided threads on the open spines.
