It's my first out-of-town art show since 2019. I've spent the last couple of days restocking the van, deciding what extra boxes to take, how to set up my display. I'm keeping it simple, leaving the 8-foot shelves at home, though I did get out the five-foot table for the first time since I redesigned things last May. Half of Monday morning was spent measuring and installing magnetic anchors for signage and plate stands, so it'll work like the four-foot bench I'm using at Market.
It'll be a challenging weekend. Denise's arthritis is still flaring, so I'm going solo. Also, it's gonna be over 100° Saturday and Sunday. I have a big contractor's water cooler packed with ice, a sun shade for the back of the booth, and salt tablets. And an air-conditioned motel to sleep in.
Wish me luck.
