Back to work
Sep. 21st, 2020 08:54 pmAfter rather more than a week--and two sales events, Club Mud and Market--lost to the smoke, I'm having trouble focusing on work again. The sky is clear and sunny (or foggy and grey, same effect) and I just can't motivate.
I've also nearly worn out my black line brush, and none of the new ones I made last week work as well. So decorating's been a struggle. I really would rather stay in bed than go down to the studio to glaze. Even though I've got a firing scheduled, orders promised, yadda yadda.
Fortunately, I guess, my cat has taken to licking my elbow as soon as she notices my eyes are open. So lazing in bed is not an option; if I try, she escalates to the armpits.
I got to Club Mud at mid-morning, warmed up on a set of five fox plates, worked my way up to gravy tureens, pie plates, dinner plates, and a pair of really cute doggie bowls.
Here's a selection of today's work.
