Just received word that the Silverton Fine Arts Festival is cancelled for 2020, due to Governor's request to suspend large gatherings until after September 1.

Anacortes Arts Festival is still discussing postponing the show until September, but I decided that I couldn't face the two-day drive, staying in a motel, and dealing with whatever extra health and sanitation requirements that might pop up. I emailed them Tuesday withdrawing from the show.

Clay Fest will also not be happening for 2020. Although it's well past the September 1 guideline, we decided that we couldn't do a successful show while also enforcing healthy limits on occupancy, distancing, and keeping workers at our centralized checkout safe. The Steering Committee is currently considering some sort of online clearinghouse where we could direct our customers, to connect them with their favorite artists. More on this as it develops.

Eugene Saturday Market has announced a tentative opening date of Saturday, June 13th. This is contingent on Lane County getting permission for Phase 1 opening. There are also going to be some substantial changes: no entertainment until August, no tents or table seating in the Food Court. Presuming wide spacing of people in line for their Ritta's Burrito or Pad Thai.
