About a month ago, a father and daughter came into my Saturday Market booth. They said they had a lot of my pottery, bowls, plates, and she recited all the patterns. She then spent a lot of time seeing what I had that was new, while Dad and I talked. He then announced that he thought she was big enough to have her own mug (I'm guessing she was six-ish? I can never tell.)
This led to much excitement, and another round of perusing all the patterns. She ultimately settled on the pileated woodpecker. Are you sure? asked Dad. Wouldn't you rather have a bunny, or a kitty? Nope. Pileated woodpecker it was.
Meet Morgan's first mug. I think she's gonna like it. Knock wood.
