The finished look

Here's a few finished pots that I showed earlier as works-in-progress. As I said, quite a successful firing.

Eeny, meeny, miny

I always make extras when I do a special order; in this case--an altar set for my sister-in-law--I did one in each of two different glazes, my regular speckled white, and a blue-grey celadon I mixed up from scratch.

Problem is, they both look really nice. How do I decide which set to send?

I asked Denise's opinion. Texted photos to my sister Maggie. (Who commented, Too bad one of them didn't break in the kiln. Thanks, Maggie. Though it would have made the decision easier.) I wound up outvoted, two to one, but after looking at the photos of the chapel space again, I had to agree. And ship off the celadon set.
