First impressions
Feb. 14th, 2015 11:05 amThe new official City of Eugene 5-year mugs. I haven't gotten orders for 2015 yet, but decided to take time in this more-or-less quiet part of the year to stockpile a few against future need. There's sixteen of them on the ware board.
The new seal sprig is a little easier to apply: fewer layers, and the background layer isn't as thin (or textured) as the old seal. But I'm worried that it's a little heavy. I might have to sand down the mold with some drywall cloth, thin out the back layer and make it a little less bulky. Think I'll wait 'til I've fired some of these and see how they turn out.
