Dead squirrels remind me of you

A woman came into my booth yesterday, and after examining the pots for a bit, told me she'd seen my brush making demo at Clay Fest a few years back.

You use squirrel tails for your brushes, right? Some you buy, some from ones you pick up?

That's right, I say.

That's what I thought, she says. Now every time I see a dead squirrel on the road, I think of you.

I guess that's one way to be remembered...
