Glazing over too! Thirty-two soup bowls to start the day, then I dug down for the last dregs of my creativity to paint eight tiles for a mirror surround. Alaskan wildlife this time, including moose, brown bear, salmon and woodland caribou. This photo is of the initial line drawing. I'll have to try and shoot one with color tomorrow before I submit it to the tender mercies of the kiln.
For those keeping track (i.e. me), that's 251 items glazed in just over a week. Retail value is $6911, which is kind of staggering. Won't fit everything into this firing, of course, but that just gives me a good head start on my next kiln.
Loading will happen tomorrow, firing Tuesday night and Wednesday. And I need to put in a call to Clay Art Center. I've less than a bag of clay left.
