Clay Fest is Over
Oct. 12th, 2014 03:05 pmClay Fest is over! Whew! Sales were okay, a little off of last years, but I also got a commission for a table setting, so it evens out. The Brush-making demo went well, though as usual I forgot to get pictures. There was a mother and daughter watching who promised to send me pix they took. I hope they follow through.
So now I can rest, right? Right… And get ready for Clayfolk, gallery stocking, special orders, Holiday Market. As I find myself explaining to my farm-raised family, this time of year is haying, grain combining and silage chopping all in the same few weeks. With deer season and butchering thrown in.
In a word, harvest time.
