After the firing

offcntrI've been remiss in updating, I'm afraid. Sorting and shipping orders, a gallery run to Olympia, getting ready for the opening of Saturday Market, opening Saturday Market. Since then, I've been more or less chained to my desk, working on the map handout for Ceramic Showcase, getting Registrar's materials organized for Clay Fest. So I haven't said anything about how my last firing turned out.
It was pretty good.
Very little oxidation, though it did take out several cat banks, which is very frustrating, as I lost the last batch the same way.
And the sculpture? Is wonderful.
Much darker and witchier than I expected. See for yourself.
